Explore the Wonders of the Deep

 If you’ve always wanted to take scuba diving lessons, experience unparalleled adventure and see the world beneath the waves, this is where it starts. Millions of people have learned to scuba dive and gone on to discover the wonders of the aquatic world through this course.

1. Knowledge Development to understand basic principles of scuba diving.

2. Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills.

3. Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore.  

Rental gear is included for the course. Gear includes Regulator, BCD, tanks, and weights.

Mask, Snorkel, Fins, and Boots will be needed before confined water skills. We offer discounted packages for our students. 

Dive experience is not needed for the Open Water Course. You must be 10 years old or older, able to swim, and medically fit for diving. 

Complete the medical form below prior to class. Please note, if you have medical conditions listed on page 2, you will need to take the form to your primary care provider for a medical evaluation.

 OPTION 1: IN-PERSON LEARNING $395

1. Stop in, give us a call, or book online on our home page to get scheduled for your

classroom and pool session.

2. Pick up your PADI Crew Pak that includes Open Water Diver Manual, PADI divePAL Computer Simulator, Training logbook, Student record file, Required Student Planning Slate, PADI transparent decal, Continuing education brochure. 

3. Review your Open Water Diver Manual to prepare for class.

4. Attend classroom and pool work at Bayou Divers (1010 N7th St. West Monroe, LA) Saturday 8-4, Sunday 8-3. 

OPTION 2: E-Learning  $220 (for instruction, gear rental, and pool)

1. Purchase your PADI E-Learning material using the Bayou Divers link. ($230, subject to change per PADI)

2. Stop in or give us a call to schedule your confined water skills in our indoor, heated pool.

3. Complete all e-learning material prior to confined water skills.

4. Attend pool work as scheduled at Bayou Divers (1010 N7th St. West Monroe, LA)

OPEN WATER SKILLS

OPTION 1 - VORTEX SPRINGS $495

Book a Certification Trip to Vortex Springs along with our group to continue training with a Bayou Divers Instructor. Price includes lodging on-site at Pinewood Lodge, food, instructor fees, certification documents, and park fees. Trips are scheduled monthly. Transportation is not included. 

OPTION 2 - Referral $75

Bayou Divers can send a referral to another PADI Dive Center for you to complete your open water skills. This is usually only needed for those that have a vacation scheduled and would like to continue certification while they are there. 

You will need to provide Bayou Divers with the contact information for the other PADI Dive Center to have the referral sent. Please note, there will be additional charges at the referred PADI Dive Center to complete certification. 

ONCE YOU ARE CERTIFIED, IT'S TIME TO GO DIVE!!!!
